Hi all,
my name is Kyle Newman and i am new to the site. I have been in the industry for quite some time being the son of Paul Newman (not the actor) of Newman Car Creations. at our shop we take early Corvettes (53-82), Chevy's (55-57) and Chevy trucks (55-59) and build full chassis that incorporate C-4 Corvette suspension and drive train. We have been doing our conversions for over 15 years now and have hundreds of cars running around with our chassis under them.

in the last year or so i personally have become active in participating in local auto crosses and track days. my dad has a 57 Chevy wagon that has been the shop test mule for the last 10 years. We always knew that the wagon drove great and had corner carving abilities but never expected it to do so well on the track.

looking forward to meeting some like minded people and evolving the sport and industry.

here is the shop website,

happy motoring!

Hey Kyle,

I'm in Pismo Beach. I actually have a Car Creations frame in the garage for my Corvette. Welcome aboard.

Kyle,
It's just great. I had the frame converted in 2000 and have done absolutely nothing but store it ever since. I supported my wife through a Master's and Doctorate, bought an overpriced house, and had 2 kids in that span. Now a 2 seat Corvette is completely useless :hand:. I still have hope!

Hey Kyle,

Welcome to the board. Glad to see you both made it home safely from Vegas too. It was really a lot of fun watching you just beat and beat on the wagon ALL weekend. You guys have a great product!

Yep, not a good time for the fan to totally quit working. Made a long ride much more stressful. I think Mary is still cussing out the car!

See you at Del Mar? Maybe this time we can get 8 people in your car for a run!!

Yay, Central Coast!

I've seen your wagon countless times at some of the shows, Cider Creek, etc.
I live in Paso Robles. I also have a 57 Chevy, 2dr sedan that will someday get some attention again.

It would be nice to meet some locals. I know there's plenty around me, and a good bit the reason I moved up here recently. Now I just need to actually meet some car-people. :lurk:

And Nick.. I been meaning to check out the Stacks cruise or the Derelicts... But Cider Creek is the same time, and a couple blocks from my house. :twothumbs
