hey guys, well after some serious setbacks and tools being stolen My project 68 GTO is back underway. Im still currently in the breakdown process, with the body on blocks and the frame stripped underneath it. This is an at home, 1 car garage project, as well as my first frame off. Im doing as much of the grunt work as i can myself to keep my costs down. Ill admit that im in to deep, skill and resource wise, but its all a learning experience right? Well right now as I type Im spreading aircraft paint stripper on the frame and getting it down to metal to send in to get the chassis stiffined up, and then decide on the rear suspension. Probably a 4 link, any suggestions??. Tonight im going to get the underside of the body all clean, so do i just get under there with a wire wheel and grind off all the undercoating?? Ill say again im still very green when it comes to all this, but im willing to learn and take critisism. Intentions for the car: To be a mean street car that will definetly see the track from time to time. Thanks for the checking my project out, and the help guys. -Daniel . Pics will be up shortly.
