hey guys, after some major settbacks with tools being stolen, im rolling on my project again. My 68 GTO is still in the tear down phase but starting to transition into the build phase. The body is on blocks with the bare frame under it. Im stripping the frame with aircraft paint stripper as im typing this. After that im sending it in to have the frame cross braced and stiffened up.....then deciding on the rear end. Any suggestions? Im doing most of the grunt work i can in my 1 car garage to keep my costs down. Ill be moving on to cleaning the belly of the body tonight. Do i just get under there with a wire wheel and grind off all the undercoating? Also, im debating on if i should powdercoat the frame, or just use POR 15. What do you guys think cost vs. durability? To be honest this is my first frame off build and im in way over my head, but its all a learning experiance right? Thanks for checking out my project.Pics to come-Daniel
