1963 Nova Convertible

I'm from Ontario Canada and own a '36 Ford 5w coupe powered by a BBC and also own a 1963 Nova convertible.
I called the Nova a semi-pro-touring since it doesn't yet have all the cool parts necessary to make it a full on pro-tourer. I've added CPP tubular uppers and lowers, 17" wheels, disc brakes, 355 SBC and a 700R4. It sits nice and handles like a dream with the new front end pieces. I still have to add frame connectors to stiffen it up a bit.
This past winter I had new quarters installed and will be changing the color from white to silver.

That's a sweet little cruiser. My dad had 2 of these, both hardtops and one a drag car, when I was a kid, and I have a soft-spot for that model.
I'd like to do one sometime with a 3800 V6 and 5 spd from a 4th F-body...it'd be relatively quick with great gas mileage...maybe good for one of my kids when they're of driving age.

Something about novas and fat fendered Fords. I own a 63 chevy II and my dad and I are also building a 46 ford. Your nova looks nice I am jealous.

Thanks. The Nova is in getting new paint as we speak. Hope to have it back in a couple of weeks.
Yep, having a hot rod and a Nova is the best of both worlds. The '36 looks basically stock but the torque of the BBC let's you know it's not. I drove it to the Bonneville Salt Flats 2 years ago. 4,100 miles without even a hiccup.
