View Full Version : 2nd gen power steering pressure side flare nut size

Just like the thread says, I need to know the size of the flare nut for the power steering pressure line that connects into the gear box on my 79TA. The return side is normal size for 3/8" tubing but the pressure size is larger yet is still for 3/8" tubing. Also, does anyone know of a source for the flare nut? McMaster-Carr doesn't have them.

It's 11/16 in.-18 Inverted Flare.

Summit was no good. I did a Google search and only one company had it listed. That can't be right. There has to be more out there. The thread size is correct though so I'm going to call some local places. They hadn't a clue before since I didn't know the thread size.
