Unisteer manual rack on 69 Camaro

I have just installed a unisteer manual rack on my 69 Camaro with the 3 joint staft kit they recomend. I have tried several adjustment & still getting binding while turning. Any recomendations appreciated. Thanks

check that the joint isnt contacting the DD shift inside the joint..

I had the same issue on my Nova kit along with other issues. After negative feedback from Unisteer, I decided to make the kit wall art instead.

Thanks so far, I am going to try shortning the lower shaft a little to get some of the angle out of the middle joint & the joint at the rack next to see if that helps.

When I did mine it took a few tries to get... one spline at a time

I took back apart & phased the joints at 90% instead of 45% & it is smooth now. The directions that came with the shaft assy said 45% but the directions with the rack said to phase the steering joints 90% & that is what made it the smoothest.
