Seeing as they share basically the same platform using the FE2 suspension in the V6 Camaro and V8 G8 GT...
Does that mean aftermarket stuff for the Camaro is swappable for the G8?
Since the G8 is a dead market now, I don't see much in the way of aftermarket support. But I'm starting to see more and more Camaro stuff.
Anybody know if I can start looking at Camaro stuff for parts?

I would check into aussie car sites, I am sure they got stuff down there for them.

This is true, but shipping from the bottom half of the planet would probably be horrendously expensive. haha
I'll fire up the google monster and see what it brings me.

Here's some sites to check out.
I have a 2009 G8 GT. Love it!

What kind of suspension parts are you looking for?
My Mom has a G8 GT, and I've got an 06 GTO, so I'm pretty familiar with where to get stuff. There's a pretty big market for modding these things down under, so there's actually a lot of stuff available. It's my understanding that quite a few of the parts have been changed a bit between the Camaro and the G8, so many things aren't directly swappable.
In addition to some names that have already been mentioned, like Pedders, which is probably the biggest, you could check BMR for hard parts (trailing arms, frame connectors, etc.). They also have a line of poly bushings available, which I'd probably do before the Pedders stuff as it's cheaper. Spohn also makes some hard parts for the car now, as well.

We have both a G8 and 2010 Camaro test car and have developed products for both applications. In doing so we have a very good understanding of the differences/similarities between the two. Basically all of your suspension links are the same (trailing arms, toe rods, and control arms) but the springs, shocks, and sway bars are completely different between the two applications. We currently have poly bushings, trailing arms, toe rods, subframe connectors, and shock tower braces available for both vehicles and will have springs and swaybars available for them in the next few months. Also projects on the drawing board consists of lower control arms, tubular front and rear cradles, and solid axle conversions (for the hardcore guys).

Brett,
I just ordered your BMR Strut tower brace and Subframe Connectors... hoping to get them here and on the car before April 3rd for the RTTC event.
