Total Cost Involved would like to introduce our brand new Tubular Subframe Front End for the 1st & 2nd Gen Novas. With the popularity of Autocrossing and Road Racing growing every day we decided to build a no compromise front end that will not break the bank. This is a completely new design with the best possible handling characteristics in mind.

We used a Narrowed Tubular Rail design, redesigned down bars, and completely new Inner Panels to allow the widest wheel and tire package possible. The down bars have right handed and left handed heims for easy adjustments. The Camber Gain we built in will be very well suited to those who want their Nova to really handle the corners. Anti-dive is aggressive so you will keep the tires flat on the ground when mashing the brake pedal. The engine mounts have been completely redesigned to gain a little room for the steering shaft. Ground clearance was increased while keeping ride height and center of gravity low.
This front end will be on display at the 1st Annual Autocross @ the Super Chevy Show in Las Vegas.

I will post some pics once the front end is back from the powdercoater but here is a teaser.

Negative CG is a 1/2 degree at 1" bump. I'll get with the R&D department on Monday for RC specs.

Figures I just finished the "mock up" of my TCI mustang II setup on my 63 thinking I could upgrade to coil overs later and now I immediately regret it. THANKS!!! That clip looks amazing

I think that peoples perception of TCI being street rod only parts is changing.

I have been a TCI dealer for 25 years and I have seen them evolve from being a strictly street rod parts and chassis builder to a top notch muscle car suspension supplier. The owner Ed Moss and general manager Sal Solorzano have been burning the candle at both ends redesigning their Camaro, Mustang and Nova suspensions. They have always been geat street suspensions but as you can see from the way their 68 Camaro performed at the last Super Chevy Handling Challange they are definately getting their act together for the Pro-touring and autocross applications. They are currently installing the new 1st Gen Nova IFS and new 3-link Torque arm rear suspension in Sal's personal car. I can hardly wait to see how it performs.

We have been taking pre-orders now and will begin shipping on April 15th. The price will not increase from the existing "Custom IFS" which retails for $3487.

The 10% discount available through dealers on the existing Custom IFS will still be applicable but management is unsure if all the freebies will transfer over. More than likely the free freight(to the lower 48) and free inner panels promotions will transfer over but the free power rack upgrade and free anti-sway bar are questionable. I will certainly keep you guys up to date as I get more info.

The parts got back from the powdercoater yesterday so we spent most of the evening assembling. The wheels and tires hadn't arrived by the time I left so I wasn't able to get the chassis to a spot to get some decent pics. I arrived a little early this morning but the boys in R&D had already loaded it into the trailer. Luckily, it wasn't strapped down yet so I moved some stuff around and snapped a couple pics.

The inner panels weren't finished yet but I think you guys will be pleasantly surprised with the new design.

Enjoy!!!

Can we see pictures of the inner fender panels yet? Is there a deal if I was to buy the new front clip and the new truck arm rear suspension?

I was hoping to take some pics of the panels yesterday but they weren't mounted on the front end yet. I promise as soon as they are mounted I will post them up.

We most certainly can make you a package deal for the front and rear suspensions. You can either contact Motor State distributing(supporting vendor here) @ 800-772-2678 and talk to Brad or contact Tim @ Tim's Hot Rod(screenname 'ibuildm') @ 509-926-1429. There will be a bunch of extra incentives if the order is placed this month too.

Yes, I have had a few requests for the subframes alone and I can accomodate. Pricing is still to be determined but if the past has taught me anything it will cost you roughly 15%-20% more building it in pieces.

Tim(ibuildm) has been taking pre-orders based on the price of the Camaro Torque Arm. I ordered all the steel to make 5 kits about 2 weeks ago. Production will begin on them in the next week or so.

Maybe a dumb question but is there a drastic difference between the torque arm and the new beefed up 4 link. My car will be mostly street driven but will be pushed a bit.

The only dumb question is the one that isn't asked.

The primary difference will be in where you plan on pushing the car. The 4-Link will be for street/drag, whereas the Torque Arm will be more suited for street/autocross. That isn't to say you can't take the 4-Link to the autocross or the Torque Arm to the drag strip and push the limits but it isn't where they will excel.
