I am wondering if any of you have experience / comments about these batteries. I was talking to my local speedshop about Braille (light weight, good cranking and durability) and he mentioned that he's a dealer for Kinetik.

Here's their audio website:
http://www.kinetikaudio.com/2009/default.asp

and racing website:
http://www.kinetikracing.com/

The racing site is "under development" but here's their catalog.

Looks like the KR912 (22lbs) and KR1212 (28lbs) are the only light-ish batteries...but they don't mention cranking amps or amp-hours.

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Steven

I just finished researching batteries...I noticed that either Summit or Jegs carried that brand but didn't find anybody on here that used one. After a long debate I went with the Odessey PC1200MJT, it showed up today and it's nice and small for the power it has.

I have a 11.5# Braille and it works great.

Kinetik = badass for car audio

I have been using Kinetik batteries for about 4-years now, mainly for car audio purposes. I have recently began to offer Powermaster batteries to my performance customers. Both seem to work nice but the Kinetik's weight more. I run Powermaster in my 69 and 67.

sik68, we have been moving quite a few Braille batteries since we took on the line. If you decide to go this route, give us a call and we can set you up.

What's the benefit of these batteries vs "regular" batteries?
