4l60e dipstick

what are you guys using for a dipstick for 4l60 e?
I had read that an impala ss dipstick can be used does anybody know what year?

I used a Lokar dipstick. I have a factory one from my 4L65E it is out of a 06 GTO. If you are interested in it I will try and find it and you can have it unless I tossed it already. PM me if you want.

The Lokar diptstick wors fine. The Impala SS dipstick require a little creative bending, but it locks--which is important if you do any racing.

Steve I have read in several posts from you on the Imapala dispstick do you a have a picture of one that you have installed? The only thing I don't like about the Lokar I heard they are hard to read and I think the Imapala would be dead accurate on levels..

PS what year Impala should I shoot for?

94 to 96 Impala/Caprice came with the 4L60e but a 93 to 97 Camaro might provide a better fit in tighter locations since they also came with the 4L60e and had a lot less acreage under the hood.
