I'm trying to find out why the rear of the car / ride height is higher on the right than the left. (Hotchkis
coil springs and Bilstein shocks if it matters) I disconnected the shocks at the bottom and it was the same
so I figure the springs are the cause. I reconnected the shocks and it now sits 9/16" higher on the left and
1/4" higher on the right, but both sides are now at the same ride height. (I didn't drop the rear enough for
the springs to move) Anyone have any idea as to what may have happened?
Thanks,
Larry.

have you driven the car? this will settle the springs shocks and any bushings.

X2 with what Bryce stated. Did you torque the fasteners with the suspension loaded or while it was in the air? You typically want to torque them when the suspension is loaded.

I haven't driven it yet I'll do that tomorrow if it doesn't snow. The only fastener I did anything with was the lower shock bolts and I did those with the wheels off the ground, but driving it makes sense. I'll see what happens. It just seemed wierd it came out the way it did, I've never had that happen before, of course it is nice that it sits level. :).
Thanks,
Larry.
