heres some shots of the firewall so far i've got the wiper motor moved with the linkage hooked back up seems to work good although the linkage was alittle mind numbing for awhile

Looks good Tomm. I'm thinking about doing the same to my '67. Question, did you cut the firewall piece out and overlay it on the existing firewall? I was planning on cutting the old one out and using 16 ga. to keep it as straight as possible.

daredvl i cut portions out of the existing wall i had to cut an access panel in the driverside cowl to install linkage i plan on useing panel adhesive and welding the outside 100% then blending it in and welding what i can reach from the inside i hope that this will work i know new cars are assembled with lots of panel adhesive sometimes i think thats the only thing that keeps them together fancy glue!

i went with dart pro plat iron heads i don't have build sheet right now i think there 200cc intake runners with a 72cc chamber the cam is crower 00471 .555-.559 lift 286-292 dur. adv. [email protected] 110 lobe sep. 2500-6000 rpm with 1.6 p.e.p. rockers makes the lift like 593-597

advice, get a tensioner for your march pulley setup. I had one b/4 i went ls. it worked great, but could never keep belt tight, got the tensioner and it solved all my problems. If you don't drive it very much, you may not have to.

Great way to make a complete smooth firewall!!
Do you have any detailed pictures of how you did the moved wiper motor?
was it difficult to do?

right or wrong i just stuck the fender on jammed the wiper motor up behind the fender and picked a spot where it fit marked it with a sharpe removed the fender and drilled a hole with a 3 5/8" holesaw i had previuosly checked the angle of the motor when it was originally installed it was at 11 deg. i then stuck the motor in the hole turned it to 11 deg. and drilled the mounting holes i made a tap pad out of 3/16" flat stock by using the same holesaw, i then drilled the 3 mounting holes and tapped them 10-24 then to finish i had to cut and access hole on the driverside cowl, i also used this hole to lenghten the linkage (with was the hardest part) and install the tap pad to mount the motor the whole job only took acouple of hours and by setting the motor to the original 11 deg. the park curcuit should be the same the stroke is already set if you use the original crank piece that mounts to the motor shaft hope this helps
