I getting close to picking up an LS motor for my 69 Camaro. Can anyone tell me where a good source for an LS engines is in the San Francisco Bay Area? Preferably it would be a complete take out with all accessories and T56.
Thanks,
Steve

Take a look at GM Sports in San Jose. They are a full wrecking yard for GM Muscle Cars and last time I was there they had several LS engines complete with accessories on the showroom floor.

GM sports is well above market. Tony H. knows some cats down in Morgan Hill that seem to have some really fair prices. I don't have the link on this computer though. You might try a combination Google search for LS and Morgan Hill.

Hey Steve, I am also in the Bay Area and am looking to buy an LS1, maybe we can get a better price if we buy two motors, I have tried looking around but have not found a place yet. PM if you would like to talk about this.

Thanks for the info guys, I feel like a total turd not responding to your suggestions. Aparantly I didn't have the setting on this board notify me when replies to my thread were made so I didn't realize you guys posted.
Anyway, I tried GM Sport in the south bay, NorCal auto wrecking in Sac, car-part.com, and almost bought a wrecked car at Copart auto aution. I ended up finding an LS3 on eBay from Hennessey Performance in Texas that only had 30 miles on it.
I found my M12 T56 on car-part.com
Thanks for the suggestions.

PM daytonayellaz on here if you are looking for motors. He is not in Cali but will ship them anywhere and has sold over 20 of them. I know he just picked up 4 more this week.

What size/power are you looking for? I have pretty much a new crate engine for sale.

Decided to put the 454 from Penny into the Rat..
Great engine, all brand new parts. Perfect for someone that doesn't need a bajillion horsepower.
Complete from trap door baffled oil pan to throttle body.
