I know I am posting to the wrong area here,... but I don't want to spend all night trying to find the right area. I am a new user on this website and thought I would come here looking for some advice. There is a member on here that has been a member for 1-2 years. He invited me to this website, that is how I know about it. Well,a while ago,...2-3 months ago, we made a trade for some car parts. He seems like a very nice guy,...BUT, he never sent me my parts. It's far past the point of normal but I was wondering,....how do I talk to him about it? It's beyond the point of rediculous. I am wondering,.... did he just scam me? Or is he just simply being lazy? How do you make a trade, and not complete your end of the deal within a timely manner! I have looked up this history of this fella and have seen that he has sold other parts on here. I am wondering did everyone get their parts? Or am I the only one who is being messed over. Even with that, how do you go and do all this buying and selling and exchanging,.... and tell me, you have just been busy. I will give him a little more time,....and if I don't recieve my stuff back or his,.... I a going to out him and hopefully this site will banned him. I have emails to prove. I wish I still had all my txts. Thank you T-mobile for automatically deleting txts without warning.Anyway, you all should have a concern because he does sell on this site and infact the item that I traded for was posted on this site so it could have happened to anyone. My question,....what should my next step be? Lets just saying he is Rude, and Lazy,....and isn't scamming me, how should I get him off his butt to send me my stuff? How would you guys approach it?Rude and lazy accounts to now not letting me know what is going on, and not sending me my items. Talking to him he seems like a nice guy. Your take????

Have you tried contacting him since you shipped him his parts?

It may sound crazy, but it's entirely possible he just forgot to send your stuff, whoever "he" may be. Just my $.02.....

As opposed to "outing" him, maybe contact a moderator and see if somehow they can help "influence" the transaction. That way everyone saves face and if things turn sour, the moderator can ban as a way of control.

Just my .02...I have seen many folks get "out'd" and when both sides of the story come out, everyone looks retarded. "He said, she said", "I was waiting for you to call/ email", blah, blah, blah...

Graduated response....Rules of Engagement.

Good Luck.

Hound them with additional emails, phone calls, ect......make every possible attempt to contact them and get them to respond and make the deal good.....I'd give them the benefit of the doubt for now.

2-3 months is too long. Get a moderator involved and get it moving along one way or another.

I'd agree that a Moderator might be able to help here.

For what it's worth,... I had a similar experience with about $3000 of parts from a seller here. It took 6 weeks and probably a dozen emails and a few phone calls before I got my stuff.

6 weeks is too long,.... and so is your 2 months!
