I am running Wilwood 6 piston up front and 4 piston in the rear. I was wondering if the location of the adjustable proportioning valve matters. Does it need to be closeer to the master cylinder? or can I place it somewhere near the rear of the vehicle. This is on my 68 camaro. Any help would be appreciated.

Anywhere in the main rear line - after the distribution block and before the split - would work. Mine is under the hood near the MC. I figured lt would be subjected to less road grime that way, but doubt that it would affect the valve.

The location does not matter. Mount it where you like.

Would it be ok to mount one in the interior?

I mounted mine at the line just to the rear of my seat. My line just happens to pass on the drivers side. I mounted it so the shaft of the adjuster knob goes through the floor. I think I removed the knob to keep the hole small. Then reattached the knob. So I can drop my left hand to just behind the seat and turn the knob while still seated in the car. I thought it would make it nice to be able to adjust the bias while seated in the car. Works good so far. JR

Might not be a good idea if you have kids that will ride in the back seat! Sorry, but that is the first thing that entered my mind. lol

Mine is mounted to a bracket that I welded to the floor just under the front edge of the driver's seat. I can adjust it on the fly, if need be.

If you can, mount it such the fittings are vertical - makes it easier to bleed.
