Introducing my daily driver project. Many of you guys know me for my Monte Carlo SS (Project Nightmare)

Heres that thread:

But, this 1991 S-10 is my daily driver.

I have had this looker for over a year, and I have been working on it as I drive it which has been interesting at times. The picture above is about two weeks after I bought it, how I bought it.

The specs on the truck including modifications are:

2.8 v6
5spd
3:42 rear gears
Zoom Clutch
16 Chrome Iroc Z wheels ( soon to be for sale)
BFG G-force Sports (excellent daily tires BTW)
3/3 G-force drop
Belltech Nitro drop shocks
3.4 Throttle body(trust me, I did NOT do this to it)
1" Throttle Body
MSD coil
Flowmaster exhaust
Smooth chrome bumper

On my birthday right after I bought the truck a beautiful white tail doe decided to take a jog across a nice twisty back road, where about my little truck was cruising along at 60mph. Needless to say I couldn't miss her.

I let all my friends tattoo the bunk fender until I could get another one put on...

I don't have any pictures in my photobucket of what it looks like after the "repair" but, its the older style grille as I pulled the wrong core support for the truck.

My plans for this truck are to have a good, reliable, kinda fuel efficient, well handling, good stopping truck.

I will post more pictures when I get off work.

The whole reason behind naming it the "GS-10" is that I wanted to have two read stripes painted on the fender like the Corvette GS. Other plans for the truck are blue metallic paint, a 4/5 drop, LS1/T56 conversion, and 9" as well as baer 13" disc brakes, coilover front end and 17"or 18" wheels.

This is where you guys come in.

I really have no clue what to do with the rear suspension.
Any suggestions?

Also wheels, I have looked at Coys C-5s with the black centers, I think I want to do black wheels or wheels with black centers. Any ideas?

If I do black wheels, the chrome front end stuff will have to come off, so maybe a black front bumper and black grille?

Any suggestions, or ideas would be really appreciated.

Ok guys, I need some opinions. I am truly undecided on what I want for the look of the truck. SO I need you to tell me what you think would look best.

First off, this is what the grille will look like, except the billet inserts will be powdercoated black. The bumper will be the smooth chrome one I have now, and the emblem will also be the black.
(The grille on the bottom of this picture is the one I'm talking about)

As for the wheels I'm looking at either the Chrome ZR1 replicas in 17x8/17x9.5 or the ZR1 wheels with the black centers in the same sizes

Here is a picture of the chrome ones.

My third choice is the Coys c-5 with the black centers.

The coys will be in the same 17" sizes or possible 18"

So let me know what you guys think. Or if you have other suggestions for wheels that would look good that would help too.
