Hi guys,

I've been reading your pages for a quite a time. I'll be asking few questions here so I think that it is polite to introduce myself. I am Jari from Finland and I've '72 Mach 1, with 460cid aluminium headed engine with TKO600 and detroitlocker rear. I've a wheel replicas 20" magnums with 255/35-20 in front and 295/30-20 in rear. Heavy puppies but I like them. I will change to taller tires once these are worn out.

I have also other Ford Sportroof project which will be built as a combination of protouring and race car. All the future questions will be conserning the project.

Here's few pictures from my Mach 1.

I will add more pictures once I get the Mach 1 stripes installed and the "429 ram-air" decals installed maybe during spring&summer. Engine is built by ex Holman & Moody dynotechnician.

My dropbase aircleaner is 1/2" away from the roof of the scoop. Engine is pretty high package. It sounds sweet through 2 1/8" headers and 3 1/2" x-pipe exhaust.

1 1/2 year since last time, so little time, so many changes. I decided to get back to my roots with the Mach 1 and leave the protouring for my another project. Here are the last shots from the former protouring wannabe in it's current shape - 'ol school.

Some mods were made to improve the quarter mile performance, like 4.11 gears, 35 splines axles, soft front coils, modified Koni strip/street shocks etc.

Burnout assistant obviously thinks its loud?? 2 1/8" headers, 3 1/2" exhaust, delta 40 mufflers, you don't need no tachometer to see is the engine running
