It was very windy and cool in the morning, but warmed up a bit later on and turned into a pretty nice day.
Thanks go out to the Hotchkis gang who, as always, are a class act.
James, she dances around the track very nicely. What a difference a year makes.
The best quote of the day, given my Mark Hotchkis, Pro hot-shoe and drives a silly number of different cars for Hotchkis, after driving OLC: "Holy Cow, I'm shaking."

Carl - I'm having trouble with the datalogging software (it's giving me some really strange errors) but I downloaded Mark's runs and he was hitting (IIRC) over 85 mph through the back side S's (where the rumble strips used to be)! Hopefully we can get the program to behave and I'll post details.
Thanks very much to Hotchkis for inviting us and providing such a great venue to beat on our cars! Definately a first class operation and we (I) really appreciate the opportunity!

OLC is finally getting to where we want it to be! Handling and brakes are balance and right. The car always had good power but now we are getting the rest of the package working.

Very impressive...Nice session! Has a decision for which tires been made for the One Lap Event? You are limited to a 140 treadwear right?

Thanks Curtis - It was amazing to watch Mark drive the Camaro - especially after watching him in the rear view mirror right on my bumper the session before. Wow.
His lap times in the car were 1.11's and he wasn't taking the car over 6000 RPM - there was more to be had but (unfortunately) the front tires are no longer with us...
We'll be running Michelin Pilot Sport 2's for the One Lap of America - 275-35s on the front and 335-30s on the back mounted on Rushforth Night Train wheels.
