Have these wheels been discussed before?

There have been a couple discussions on Minilite replicas, I think i've seen the RB's mentioned a couple times. I have a set I traded another set of wheels for, but haven't installed them.
What's the question? Search turns up 13 threads w/ Rota

Looks like they only have them in 4 lug though, which is pretty much useless.

Rotas are also cheap built wheels.

If you want a 5 lug Minilite look, updated in more modern sizes, these are right up your alley:

BTW, probably just a coincidence, 'rota' in Spanish means 'broken'.... lol
roto = male gendered items (el vidrio esta roto = the window/glass is broken)
rota = female gendered items (la rueda esta rota = the wheel is broken)

Yes, Rotas are "cheap". They are made in the same factory as most of Mopar's OEM cast alloys. So, they are at least as good at the OEM wheels on one's new Challanger or Charger. Mine have held up fine over three winters in Maine, driving over hidden potholes were so big that my WRX momentarily dissapeared. Most of the "Rota Hate" comes from people who are justifying the purchase of the wheels that Rota kind of rips off.
My 17 x 8.5's run at 17.2 LBS. I don't think that's all that bad.

Doesn't necessarily mean they have the same quality control standards. But, I get what you're saying.

good looking wheel and if the weight is around 17lbs, the price may bring alot of buyers. As long as the backspace and bolt patterns are correct.

Youthpastor I would be interested in knowing your opinion of these rims when you get them. They are the style I like, but I am a little concerned with quality.
Thanks

The Rotas are hard to find in A-body sizes they only have a few that do work. I have had Rotas on 2 different cars in the past and yes they mostly are for imports. Mine were an S2000 and a supercharged civic. Anyways I never had any problems with them and for the money they can be a good value and they are lightweight too.
