Will an L92 from an 08 work in a 67 camaro with no mods to the front accessories?

No, you have to junk the intake, water pump and front drive. You CAN run car acesories with spacers if you want to keep the VVT, but most remove the VVT and go to a 3 bolt cam, which requires a LS3 balancer, timing cover, valley cover, intake.

I don't want to keep the VVT and I'm losing the EFI for a gmpp intak and carb for simplicity. So I'm going to need what else? Any cam suggestions? I don't really care if the car is civilized at all.

Frank is that cam require any other mods? Like porting the heads or anything?

Nope, pretty incredible actually that a cam alone can do that.

Are we talking 540 RWHP, or flywheel HP? from cam only??? wow either way!
I am putting 6.0L LY6 into my 67 camaro, and also will be Installing a carb/cam, and removing the VVT. Do we HAVE to replace the front cover/damper/ top cam gear???....... or can the VVT cam phaser be locked at 0* and a cam spec'ed with a single bolt cam core? and save from buying unneeded parts?
