Alright guys I need a little advice here, my girl friend is looking for a new car. She is helping me with the Olds and every now and then points out some old muscle car saying it would make a cool project car.
Well we recently found a '67 Riviera locally that is all original and $1500. Its one of those wonderful "ran when parked" deals so I need to check some things out on it of course. Body is in good shape few dings here and there nothing major, paint is thin in some areas with a little surface rust but no through the body rust that we have found (yet) thankfully we live in a fairly dry area that does not eat cars like some places.
Anyone know af any particular weak spots on the '67 Riv? How about parts for the Olds 430 how available are they? How about the other parts? I know some of the guys around here have grabbed up a project only to find that they can't get parts for the car so I would like to not fall into that trap. Anything else I should be aware of on this particular car?
