I have a 69 Nova with factory replacement front discs and I just installed Explorer rear discs. I also have a 1-1/8" bore Chrysler mc and Wilwood's new 5 port, adj. prop./ comb. valve. I am going to be running this setup manual. I want to run 3/16" lines front to back too.
This is a street/strip (800+ hp) car.
What do you guys think?
Thanks, Steve6

I think a 1" or 15/16" bore MC will better work with a manual setup mainly because pedal effort will be reasonable. I also think an adjustable prop valve (not a combo valve) will better suit your setup with a bit of tuning adjustment. Brake line size will not affect your brake performance so 3/16" is fine.

To add to what NOGO posted, you may even need to go to a 7/8" M/C. Best bet is to measure the bore on a front caliper to get an idea of the piston area. That will give you a better idea of what size M/C is required.

I run a 15/16" chrysler MC with my manual setup. Lets just say it gives me another reason why my wife cant drive the car. HAHA.

Thanks guys.
My prop valve is adjustable, it just happens to include ports for front brake lines.
