View Full Version : trying to identify these side mirrors

Has anyone seen the 67 camaro cover story in the june issue of Super Chevy magazine? If you can Identify what year/make/ model the side mirrors are from, I would really appreciate it. And if you know where I can get them thats even better.

Sorry I dont have a link just the super chevy magazine, I cant believe that know one has seen the cover of that mag. Especially since its an awesome pro touring car. I went to the super chevy website but couldnt find a link. They do look like the 70s type mirrors but Im not sure. Are there any sites to view side mirrors?

I don't get the mag. I'd like to check them out myself. I've got a 67 convert as well.

Can see the mirrors real well and they don't have a special on the web. But they look like a 70/80's style Pontiac mirror, like on a 78, 79 T/A. Anybody else?

The article didn't say what kind of mirrors they were. Looks good though! Just picked up the mag this morning.

When you look at the pic closely, the base/pedestal of the mirrors looks taller than 70s style. Im not sure if thats an illusion due to photography. I emailed the editor of the mag but got no response.

They look like the ones that were on 70 and 71 A-body cars. I had a 70 chevelle and a 71 442 that both had similar mirrors. :dunno:

The 70 and 71 both had crome mirrors, but 72 and up did have the sport mirrors.

Joel Rosen who built the Motion cars in the 70s used alot of ford sport mirrors but mainley on corvettes The base angle is alot steeper than the gm version. TIM

The pic is kinda hard to see, but they look like the ones off of late 2nd gen Firebirds/Camaros.
