I have a 1976 Trans Am and I want to go protouring with it, and I want to get an idea of what some of you are doing with your 2nd Gen t/a's.

Looks good but that's a huge profile for 18's. Looks like the back rubs

17 X 9.5 up front with 5.5" backspacing and 17 X 11" rear wih 6.75" backspacing. Tires in the pic are Yokohama AO 32 DOT Rs 275 40 17 and 315 35 17. I will be putting new wheels and Tires on it pretty soon in 18". Wheels will be Rushforths and tires will be the newer version of Yokohamas DOT R tire, the AO 48. I'm probably going with 285s and 295s this time.

Front: 19x8.5 forgeline TA3s
Rear: 19x12 TA3s

Can't ever remember my tire sizes--wanna say 255/40s on the front and 325/30s or 325/35s on the rear? dangit.

Yup, they rub but only slightly. Fortunately I have air bags so I can raise the rear a bit as needed. That said, I will put a shorter tire on once I run those down, hopefully this year.

Initially had 17x8s on the back and couldn't put the power to the ground well at all. At the time, there weren't quite as many offerings for the 18x10 that I was fond of, so it was what it was. Much better selection now. Gotta admit that they sure fill that wheel well nicely tho lol.

Does anyone know of any stock rims that have the bolt pattern 5x120 that has an offset of +25? I really want a cheap set of 18 or 19 Rims for my Trans Am so I can do the C5/C6 rotor and caliper swap.

Dude! I'm impressed with that compilation of bird pics! There's a pic of my car I've never even seen! The pic is of my red TA clone in front of a giant American flag. My car hasn't been out in public without some sort of race numbers or stickers on it in over 6 years and yet somehow you found a pic of it without numbers or stickers taken at the only car show it's even been near since early 2004!
