Flywheel for LSX 454 8 bolt crank

Anyone know where I can get a flywheel, clutch and pressure plate to fit behind my LSX 454? The crank has 8 bolts versus the standard 6 bolts on other LS motors.

I am running a Tremec T-56 Magnum six speed behind the LSX.

Try part number 24240678 from gm performance for your flywheel. Fits lsx 454 8 bolt crank. The flexplatee is 12622564. Not sure about the clutch. Good luck!

Is it 8 or 9 bolts? What crank does GM use on that engine? LS9 crank?

It's an 8 bolt. I don't know which crank they used, only that the motor I just received has an 8 bolt crank.

LSX 454 crate engine uses an 8 bolt crank.

Pre 2009 LS series use 6 bolt. 2009 and up LS, LSA and LSX use 8 bolt. LS9 crank uses a 9 bolt flywheel.

Yes, but its no different than when GM went to the 1986 pattern. I am just wondering why the change now. It's not like there were issues of failure with the 6 bolt pattern. Just thinking out loud.
