Where would be the cheapest place to buy Del-a-lum bushings? Is there much maintainance with them or just occasional greasing when I grease the rest of my front end?

Well, the only place you can buy Del-a-lum bushings is from Global West. They make them and don't have any distributers that I am aware of. Some are building knock offs, DSE has a set of Delrin bushings with aluminum shells. I don't what appliactions. AFCO has been building lightweight solid bushings for sometime...they are Teflon lined steel shells.

I know National Parts Depot and Year One are GW distributors and I am sure there are others. In fact I just bought some GW LCA bushings from NPD. They do not carry the entire GW product line.

I stand corrected. I know it was only a few months ago they were having major problems meeting the demand of direct orders. I wonder how they will keep with having distrubtors.

The "Del" is Delrin, a form of Teflon.

Delrin is a brand name but "Acetal" is the type of plastic. It's like Nylon but a bit harder/tougher.
Some circle track suppliers sell a bushing that will fit stock A arms and has fiberglass reinforced plastic which might be Acetal Copolymer Copolymer has added materials for more strength.
Another alternaive is to buy steel circle track bushings and bore them out and sleeve them with Acetal.
Here is a link
Go here and search on Delrin, and on Acetal copolymer.

The GW site has an outdated page that list its distributors. As I mentioned earlier NPD and Year One were on the list. I did call several other distibutors who mentioned having problems getting product from GW in a timely manner, and another quit selling GW stuff after being a distributor for over 10 years for the same reason. Even with that being said everyone spoke very highly of the quality/reliability of GW stuff, but getting it can be a problem at times.

We got GW parts for our 73 Camaro from Year One. If Year One says they have them in stock ,you have a good chance of getting them.
