Powermad

Hello, everyone. I am Stan and I am a Hot Rod Addict. I love cars! My current project is not a "classic musclecar", but it is a "classic". A 1955 Chevy Nomad. It has the aerodynamics of a brick, but its cool.
I am pretty much starting over on my Nomad. After meeting the guys at the Roadster Shop and the Ring Brothers, I got a completely new image of what I wanted my car to be like. I wanted something that would be classic, yet have the manners of a new car with a little more horsepower. So now the Nomad has some new parts, a Roadster Shop chassis, Tremec six speed, and I am working on getting a LS or LSX motor.
I am already loving this site with all the cool things y'all have done with your cars. The Nomad may not be able to road race, but I would hope I could at least have fun on a few mountain roads and maybe even an autocross at the Goodguy events.
Lots of work to do yet and as soon as I learn to upload pictures, I will post some of my project "Powermad" in progress.
Thanks to all of you for the great info I have already gained by just looking through this site.
