I thought I would use this front end with a little more trimming of the spoiler
#1

But I have been thinking more about maybe using this front end
#2

Which one would you use?

I like #1 but I would trim the spoiler a little more. On mine I will run what is similar to number 1 without a spoiler.

third vote for #2, don't like the angle of the lights in #1

I just put one on my falcon that looks like #1 but without the spoiler. Now I kinda want to use one that looks like #2. Who is the supplier for #2?

That is what I was going to ask. #2 looks more late model and I especially like the wider opening in the middle. The GT350 style is too narrow for my taste. Especially if you go to a wider cross flow radiator like I have in my car.

I like #2 is if the car will be low enough. If not then #1 with the angled spoiler looks better.

You think that would look good on our car? Man, I don't know...

sorry for the hijack TS!

IMO it depends on the rest of the 'Stangs style. If your going for the vintage Trans-Am look I think #1 would look best. If an updated style (modern wheels, trick paint etc.) is what you're shootin' for I'd go with #2.

It is the bottom of an Eleanor front end. We are working on an Eleanor and I was not happy with the fit of the top nose and thought I could use the bottom on my coupe. I was going to get a one piece nose from Mustangs to Fear for the Eleanor project. The company that the Eleanor kit came from is out of business because the owner died.

.

# 1 = Raw

# 2 = Refined

# 3 = The Young Gun's ... very custom look ( Too modern for a '60s car ? )

I'd go with # 2

Personally I think #1 has the best shape. In my opinion #2 almost looks like it was made for a different/modern car.

Rusty428 - I think #2 looks better, the curved corners make it look better, and the center looks better.

Looks like the Nemesis front end

I'm going to go against the grain too and say that I prefer #1.

#2 looks good front the front but IMO, it make the cars seem front-biased...it's hard to do anything with the back to make it look "even". I feel the same about cowl hoods - you need a wing in the back to even it out.

Thank you for your response. I posted this on two forums and this is the results.
#1 11
#2 13

I'm still not sure which one I like the best. I think I will finish fitting #1 and than see how it looks.

to me i like #1 better. # 2 just don't look very natural. too round and plastic!

I like #1 better also. #2 just doesn't seem to fit the body lines right. Maybe you should take a pic of each from an angle though, so we can see how it looks front the side. Like, a diagonal front quarter shot, so we can see the front and the side.

At this point # 1 does not line up to the fenders I need to make that fit. Also once I get the shape of the spoiler it needs a small lip on it to make it look right
