Wow, have I been putting in the hours, no kidding, detailing this car has taken me two months of work, 5 to 6 days a week. From tagging each nut and bolt, to cleaning, painting each misc. part. What gets me is I started detailing years ago. When I started back up again I thought I had only a day or two worth of work. Was I ever wrong! Listed are a few things my son Justin and I have been working on. With me having a bad back, I'm beat.

Front calipers. These darn brakes took me days upon days to detail properly.

These rear brakes were more work than the front units. Metal brakects, springs. etc are all hand clear coated for protection.
Even the inside of the calipers has been detailed to the nth degree.

Orginal kick panel cover. Notice the glue over the plastic. Yes I was into the velour look back in the 70's.

New kick panels with built in speakers. I painted the speaker covers to match, giving it the stealth look. A top Alpine stereo system wiill also be installed at a future date.

I wonder how many times these hidden headlight units have been repainted without sanding the old rust and grime off?

Each unit was sandblasted, primered and painted. Plus I have purchased all new hardware (screws, clips, etc.) The yellow is from the flood lights shining on the table.

Justin spent two days cleaning this set of chrome hood hinges. All my chrome is show quality. If you are going to do something, do it right! That said, like an idiot, if I knew they were going to sit with 10 years of dust before I got back to needing them, I would have covered them in the first place.

More pics forthcoming. Thanks R.P.

Year One, carries them. They have separate kick panels for cars with a/c and others with vents only. I purchased mind from Ames Performance, which handles GTO parts only, (I believe.)

Ames carries both 80 watt and 120 watt Kenwood speakers with built in tweeters. Year One only offers the 80 watt units. R.P.
