Is there anybody using a 14" rotor on the front of a 67' or 68'. If so what size and brand of wheels are you running? I am looking at possibly using a 6-piston Baer set-up, and would like to know if it can be packaged in a 17" wheel. Any input would be a big help.

I'm almost positive that you're going to need 18" wheels to clear those brakes. Depending on manufacturer, you might be able to clear with some 17s, but it's highly doubtful.

No way 17's are going to clear. My Centerline 17's (which are some the best fitting as far as caliper spacing goes) had to "self-clearance" the 13"C5 set-up I run. All of the 13" guys are bitching about having to run spacers or custom built wheels to clear. 6-pot calipers on 14" rotors are going to necessitate at least 18" wheels.

That's what I was thinking, but aren't there some manufacturers that make wheels with added clearance? I know Steevo has some 16s that clear his 13" baers, and I know that Bogarts are supposidly great for clearance.

Yeah but the 13" Baer's use the old style PBR, much smaller than the newer PBR. The Alcons are on par with the new PBR as far as caliper clearence.

18"s front and 17"s rear will make for a better handling car anyway. :icon996:
