Hello:
Can anyone tell me if the products that were sold by Newstalgia Wheels have been discontinued?
They had a beautiful set of 17 in Buick Rallye Wheels for sale, and I can't find them anymore.
I see that they are selling a bunch of other brands, just not their own.
Any help would be appreciated. My '65 Riviera could sure use a set of their wheels, as I think they had the only, "Buick" wheels in 17 inch for that year.
Thanks,
Ty

Contact Coker Tire in Tennessee.
They are a big distributor of Newstalgia Wheels.

I believe those wheels were made by Wheel Vintiques and are still available, Ty.

If Newstalgia has dropped the WV line that will be a bummer. They were the only ones I know that distributed them and to buy the wheels directly from WV is more expensive.

To All:
FYI: I'm going to have to get a hold of Coker. I went to their website and all the wheels they sale are unavailable to veiw or price at this moment.
I tried locating some additional suppliers, but had no luck.
Thanks,
Ty

There is a Newstalgia Wheels rep who is a member on the chevelles.com forum. He just replied to a thread of mine about wheels, and this is his contact info:

Thanks Guys for your follow up.
I really like the 17 inch wheels if for no other reason than with everything else, it will make it handle so much better.
Problem I just discovered. In 1965 the Bolt Pattern was 5 X 5. This are 5 x 4.75.
I have contacted the disk bake company to see if they have a rotor I can use on the front end that has the 5 x 4.75 bolt sizing.
I'm looking for information about the rear. Does anyone know if there is a fairly inexpensive way to change the bolt pattern in the rear?
I seem to remember a plate of some kind that allows this to be done, but I'll have to look it up to make sure I'm remembering correctly.
Do you all know any easy way to solve this issue?
Thanks,
Ty O'Neal

why not simply redrill the rotors and axles?

Monza Racer:
I appreciate your post.
That sounds like a good logical idea. I was not aware that could be done safely.
I guess any decent rear end manufacturer could do that.
Thanks for the idea.

Just use a chevelle rotor. The spindle shaft is the same as an A body.

Thanks.
I have a 15 inch set of wheels I'm going to run for a while as I just sent it in for Paint, and I'm refreshing up the Engine. Once done I'll see if I can get myself into a pair of the 17 inch wheels. I did find out that NV will drill them to be 5X5. I'm really surprised they didn't say that in their literature.
I bet they have lost a lot of sale with people just not thinking they would do this.
Thanks again,

I don't think that's true. Buicks up until 66 used a totally different chassis and suspension than the Chevys. The Riv used a fullsize car chassis. I went through this trying to get C-5/6 brakes on my 61 LeSabre I ultimately had way2lo2 make the brackets and brake set-up for me.
