For those who run the hydroboost set-up. I'm looking for something to make it a little neater. Right now I'm using the earls seperaters but they only hold two lines at once and I have three. I'm running a
unisteer R&P and a type2 pump.

I have HB on two cars and have installed it on several more. All of my units were installed 180 degrees from your picture. The accumulator is to the left and down. This puts the hoses under the unit and much neater. You should be able to do the same.

Another option is run the hoses behind the fenderwell.

I did it like this however and it looks nice (hard to show in a pic):

I was able to get the hoses to follow the lines of the fender opening nicely.

I also put mine in 180 degrees from yours. Ford turned it 90 degrees, with a custom master cylinder.

Do you have to run them along the fenderwell? Mine fit running them in the stock location along the aft subframe then forward beween the engine and K-member.

Flip it 180 so the lines are on the bottom, gets everything more out of sight.

I don't have the lines all finished up yet, but it really shortens up the lines coming out the bottom and running just above the frame.

I didn't try turning it but I will take a look at it. Its off a mustang.
I don't have to run them on the fender well. Its just awkward were the lines come off the top.
Carl, this mustang HB is a little different from yours it has a manifold style on the side which makes the lines on top.

If you can't turn it 180 you might be able to use another 90 or 180 ect. off the hyrdrboost so it can run under the hydroboost over the power steering box. Then if there is enough room by motor mount to the pump and then over your holding tank maybe? P.S. car looks good!!

So it doesn't matter if the the lines or accumulator is upside down. Just getting all the facts before I take it apart..

No, it doesn't matter how it's mounted. It will operate as designed in any position.

I'm using one off a late 70's early 80's Eldorado. The Eldo's and the Seville's all used single piston calipers like I already had on the front of my 'Bird. So I used the same style for the rear that had parking brakes, and used the booster, master cylinder, and prop valve from the caddys. I sent my the hydro booster out and had the mounting brackets and the pedal rod changed to be the same as what was originally used in my 'Bird. An initial fit check a cpl of years ago looked ok. I hope to have a final install done next month sometime. Was pretty cheap and easy to do actually. Also, try and find a dual return power steering pump. Makes the plumbing a little easier.

Mine is off a 01 mustang GT. My friend owns a salvage yard so it wasn't much at all. Got it at cost from another yard. I pick that one after reading CarlC webpage. Also got the bracket of the camaro's net board from someone making them. So for me it was cheaper than other ways. My friend also has some astro vans and one off a GMC pick-up...
