This is listed as a 2006 trans am on gm proformance division web site. You can down load it as wallpaper but can not find anything else about it. Does anyone know anythink else about the car or body kit?
I have a 1999 trans am with t tops that i would like to get the bumper and shaker hood scoop for.

this car was on a cover of Car Craft at the summer nationals... (I think? going totally of memory here)

I think I looked for more info on it, and it was just a GMPD concept car. I'll look for my copy of the mag...

Yeah, I remember this car. All hand built one off parts including hood, shaker, and rear spoiler.

Really? Not too different from a regular '02 T/A.

I found the magazine: Car Craft - December 2008

2008 Car Craft Summer Nats, p.65

there were two inset pictures, one of the car & one of the motor. here's the captions:
"Every hour or so, GM would randomly select winners of the ride-along via text message. If you won, you got to ride around in the GM '03 Trans Am. It's as loud as it looks. No, you can't buy one, but show up next year and you might get a ride with us."

"Oh, and it moves, too. That is a 427-inch LS1 that makes 455hp."

the scoop says "421 SD"
