Here is my first try at doing fiberglass. The sub box is approx. 1 cu ft each side for 2 12's. I just have some old Kenwoods in there now but they sound decent. Kick panels are for some 5-1/4 Orion comp and have yet to be wrap. I hope to sand them and complete them today. I am thinking of just black vynle.

Just looked at build pics and watching videos. I never saw any built in person. My buddy showed me how to do the sub box and that got me started. It's easier than I thought. I would give it a try if I were you.

It is easier than one might think. As mentioned, go to you-tube and do a search and you can find a zillion different vids on it. You can even go on ebay and find cnc mdf trim rings for cheap. For complex shapes go to your local fabric store and buy some regular fleece. Staple that around your trim rings and skeleton box and add resin. Depending on the desired thickness succesive layers of chop mat should be used for strength. Once cured all that is left is to bondo the crap out of it and then paint to finish or cover with desired material.
