Here is some more information I recieved from Jay Harris:
The advanced version of the system will be launched towards SEMA 2010. Our primary focus for this version is for our commercial vehicle customers. It has functions and features that are intended for those markets, many beyond the scope of typical enthusiast applications. These include operating at 12 & 24-volts, broader A/D capabilities up to 60-volts, higher integration on the J1939 interface. This will be sold at a premium to the existing system. Once we get through the validation testing and our deadlines for our commercial vehicle projects, we will be looking at a paired-down version to launch into the aftermarket. I’ll keep you up to date on that
inMOTION kit includes the cell, the CAN cable, the output harnesses, the power/ground harnesses and the primary fuses off of the battery.
The production mold tool for the housing is being de-bugged and our PCB house is building our second round of boards. The first production build of boards is in our lab and out with our beta customers.
The bottle neck is our PBC house and a few long-lead time parts on the bill of material. A lot of our component suppliers have significantly increased their lead times because they are limiting the amount of inventory that they are keeping at their distributors. To be conservative, we’ll be shipping inMOTION kits around the first of April.
I’ll have the guys weight the cells in the morning. The entire 3-cell kit, including the packaging and a lot of extra wire, ships out at around 17 pounds.
Actually, we do not advertise nor support remote starting. This is strictly a due-care issue and a matter of liability.
Because of the broad range of combinations of engines, engine management systems and transmissions, we reliably know when the engine is running. The last thing that we want to do is damage an engine because the customer tried to start it while it was already running. More important, we cannot allow the potential of a customer launching their car into a crowd of spectators because they didn’t install their neutral safety switch correctly..
So I guess remote start is possible as long as you take the necessary saftey precautions and dont hold ISIS responsible for engine damage! LOL

I'd be more concerned with warranty issues since they are not recommending it.
You cook a regular circuit on a car, it's just a wire or fuse to replace.
You cook a Master Cell or PowerCell on their system......$$$
Sounds to me like they tested it, and it didn't work out so well.
They have to know about the safety provisions that prevent these things in todays aftermarket remote start applications.

I am a complete wiring tech ignoramus. I am trying to learn, but I have a ways to go, and I certainly can not learn all I need before this group buy is done.
That said, can someone give me a quick and dirty answer to the following. I am building a track only race car (no hvac, no stereo, only running lamps, brake/ts, headlamps, fan, fuel pump, and gauges).
Is this ISIS system the easiest way to go? Or is it way overkill for my simple needs. (stock engine harness intact, and all lights still using stock wires, mainly I need fuel pump and gauges and ignition/start switch)

A two Cell starter kit would work great in your application.

inMOTION questions:
There are five outputs (10 if you count the reverse) This means I need 4 just for the windows... and leaves me one for the door locks...
Can just pair the left and right door locks to actuate together by splitting the wires to each side? Correct?
Can we get the windows to auto down/auto up?
Can you get the system to recognize a double tap or tripple tap of the switch to perform a different function?
Example 1: A double tap of the down switch would cause the window to roll down untill it reached the bottom OR a subsequent input from the switch would cause it to stop.
Example 2: A quick tap then a hold of the down switch would have all four windows roll down.
