Anyone know what the weight savings if any would be from switching from a th-350 to a m-21? When you factor in all the parts involved between using the two, is there that much of a savings in weight?

Thanks

Muncie typically weigh in the 70+ lbs range. Not sure of weight of the t-350

For the record the new Tremec TKO 5-speeds weigh 110 lbs, extra weight is worth having the 5th gear.

Hope it helps

You also have to include the weight of the bellhousing/scattershield, clutch fork and clutch mechanism. Converter and flexplate vs. Clutch and flywheel. Cooler lines vs. cluth pedals etc.
