For those of you who missed out on the first group purchase, there is an opportunity for it to happen again! We just need to see how many of us there, I know I'm not the only one! So just vote, PM or post on the thread saying your interested in the group buy so we have a good idea. Right now I don't know what deal we will get on pricing or what products we'll get a deal on, it's all dependant on the number of buyers just like last time. How ever the last group purchace seemed to turn out great and they saved ALOT of money.
Lets get this thing rolling, I'm ready to wire my car!

I spoke with Jay Harris this morning president of ISIS Intelligent Multiplex System regarding a volume purchase. We need names of everyone interested in volume discounts on this system. The last volume discount was great and 42 systems were purchased! I believe we can get far more systems purchased resulting in steeper discounts! I will be posting Threads on numerous boards. I'm looking to get over 50 of these systems sold! As soon as I know I will post the volume discounts. If you are interested Please post here.
Please email me your user name and the board inwhich you see this thread. Email
[email protected]
I will tally up the numbers of everyone interested from all the boards and keep everyone updated.
I'd like to keep this thread reserved for tally numbers and the names of anyone interested in the volume discounts.
If you have questions please post them here:

Good to see Jay is onboard for another GP.. I was part of the original GP so I have a system. Since that time ISIS has released or will soon release some new modules. I would be in for an InMotion Power Cell. Can you get Jay to provide an update on InTouch and when we can do custom programming online?

I'd be down again if we can get the numbers higher.

I'm working on some updates right now regarding the intouch module and the revised controller with integraed I/O.
I will keep everyone updated
Please remember:
***If you are interested in the offer please email me your user name and the board where you saw this thread!***
I need to collect emails and users who are interested and an email to my home account is the easiest way to collect them all from multiple forums.

Here is some more information I recieved from Jay Harris:
The advanced version of the system will be launched towards SEMA 2010. Our primary focus for this version is for our commercial vehicle customers. It has functions and features that are intended for those markets, many beyond the scope of typical enthusiast applications. These include operating at 12 & 24-volts, broader A/D capabilities up to 60-volts, higher integration on the J1939 interface. This will be sold at a premium to the existing system. Once we get through the validation testing and our deadlines for our commercial vehicle projects, we will be looking at a paired-down version to launch into the aftermarket. I’ll keep you up to date on that
inMOTION kit includes the cell, the CAN cable, the output harnesses, the power/ground harnesses and the primary fuses off of the battery.
The production mold tool for the housing is being de-bugged and our PCB house is building our second round of boards. The first production build of boards is in our lab and out with our beta customers.
The bottle neck is our PBC house and a few long-lead time parts on the bill of material. A lot of our component suppliers have significantly increased their lead times because they are limiting the amount of inventory that they are keeping at their distributors. To be conservative, we’ll be shipping inMOTION kits around the first of April.
I’ll have the guys weight the cells in the morning. The entire 3-cell kit, including the packaging and a lot of extra wire, ships out at around 17 pounds.
Actually, we do not advertise nor support remote starting. This is strictly a due-care issue and a matter of liability.
Because of the broad range of combinations of engines, engine management systems and transmissions, we reliably know when the engine is running. The last thing that we want to do is damage an engine because the customer tried to start it while it was already running. More important, we cannot allow the potential of a customer launching their car into a crowd of spectators because they didn’t install their neutral safety switch correctly..
So I guess remote start is possible as long as you take the necessary saftey precautions and dont hold ISIS responsible for engine damage! LOL

The Deadline is tomorrow night. Send in your email to ISIS now to get in on the discounts. Even if you send in your email you are under no obligation to purchase if you don't like the discounts. So don't miss out.
To participate in this group buy you need to email
[email protected]. You should put Group Buy in the subject line, list what you want to order.
If you can do me a favor and blind copy me on your email to ISIS as well, I would appreciate it. This will allow me to keep track of who we have participating also. My email is
[email protected] . Thank you all very much for participating and making this happen. If you have any questions please let me know.
Don't let this one pass you buy!

For anybody that is debating on getting any ISIS products in the future, by all means do it!
You seriously cannot beat their customer service, I've thrown tons of questions at Jay over at ISIS and he always responds quickly with the answer. While installing my kit, I managed to do few stupid things and they sent me the new replacement parts I needed ASAP and FOR FREE. Yeah their products may cost a little more than a standard electrical harness, but you really get what you pay for with these guys, the fit and finish of their products and the level of customer service is far and beyond what I’ve ever experienced.

Has there been any talk of another group buy? I'd like to order my stuff but if there is going to be a group buy, I don't want to miss out on the discount all you guys got. I'd be happy to arrange it if Jay were interested and of course, if there were enough interest. I'm just trying to feel it out right now, haven't talked with Jay about it yet...
FWIW I have been absolutely blown away by Jay and his service. I sent in an inquiry about the system on Friday at about 3,and got a reply later that night. He's been on spot, extremely helpful, and probably most importantly, dead reliable. His service alone makes me want to use his product... honestly if the aftermarket were more like Jay, no one would have a complaint.

Can some one please give me some insight as too why is the isis system so much better then say painless. The reason I ask is, isn't the isis system quite a bit more money then a "regular" wiring system. Which I can sort of understand if it was or is justifiable but from what I know I don't quite see or understand it. So I'm asking please help me with my ignorance

An excerpt:
I agree. In fact, if you don't need at least 3 PowerCells, an inMotion controller, and some custom programming, I'd stay with a traditional system.
Here's a few things I did with the ISIS kit that aren't that obvious:
1. I turn off all non-essential devices while engine is cranking. Windows, wipers, stereo, cooling fans, A/C, headlights, etc. All off. The only thing that gets juice is the starter, injectors, coils, ECM, TCU, and fuel pump.
2. The headlights, cooling fans, and fuel pump "soft" start. That will lengthen their lifespan and reduce the current in-rush. You can now run smaller, higher gauge wire, and numerically smaller fuses.
3. All essential engine circuits are integrated with security. No key fob, no hot wire. (thieves will probably just use a rollback, but still )
4. I replaced the DSE RS headlight controller with custom ISIS programming.
5. Ever wired interior lights? Three switches (2 in the doors, one in the headlight switch). 14g wires going everywhere -- to the switches and to the lamps. With ISIS, you have a device circuit with a single wire going to each lamp (wired in series with a ground at each lamp), and a separate 28g wire for each switch.
6. Power window are a dream to wire. Two current-carrying wires to each window. In a whole separate circuit using 28g wire, the switches are connected to the MasterCell. Every single power window has one touch down.
Anyway... I'll stop now. It's not so much about the "features", it's more about the flexibility and configurability of the system.

Hi everyone, I'm sorry for the delay, however I got an email from someone at ISIS Power this week asking for those interested. I will try to PM all of you thus far interested and ask that you ask anyone else, as the more people, the better the discount! Also, the programmer can essentially be purchased or "rented" with a $50 restocking fee. Would anyone be interested in splitting this so when we need it we just throw it in a flat rate box to whoever needs it at the time, or have them do initial programming and any updates send to them? I'm open to either just trying to share the cost of a tool I will likely need 3-4 times total. Let me know what you all think. Thanks!
