This seems to be a new one. I've been selling stuff online for years. Always try to make a complete description, in order to emilnate back and forth questions. Lately it seems people only read the title of ad then waste my time.
example 1. my ad
I have a set of Ed Quay Headers. 2 1/4" primaries, 3 1/2" collectors. Have crankcase evac fittings.
These are for motor mount apps not for motor plate setups.
Black painted, paint still good, a little surface rust as to be expected, but overall great shape. I'd rate them an 8 out of 10.
I have no way to get pics at this time. Would be happy to show them to you if you are local. Price is $275 shipped, firm
caller 1, "what size are the primaries? what size are the collectors? are they coated? Are they for a big block? Are they for motor plates?"
caller 2, can you send me some pics?
Example 2. my ad
400 chevy small block. bare block 2 bolt main. 509 block
bored .040" over. Pretty fresh bores, do not need work.
Keith Black pistons. Hyperutectic part number KB129
compression ratio
58-14.1
62-13.3
64-13.0
76-11.2
Pistons are used as well, but like new as well.
caller 1, is this a complete motor?
caller 2, is it assembled?
caller 3, what crank is it? does it have heads?
Example 3 my ad
These are rare, have polished centers instead of the standard gold you see all the time
Set of Weld Racing Magnum 2.0 wheels
Fronts are 3 piece 15x3.5 with 1.75" bs
rears are 3 piece 15x10 with 4.75" bs
Chevy 5x4.75" bolt pattern
Fronts have goodyear front runners, 25x4.5 pretty old, but hold air great and will get you by for now.
Rears have 28x10.5 MT slicks that have plenty of tread depth, but one got too close to a fender lip and is a bit chewed up on one edge.
Rears are drilled for slicks of course
Includes a set of lug nuts for sae thread.
Caller 1 "are they gold? what is the backspacing? Are the tires good?"
callere 2" Do you have rears or just fronts? Are they chevy bolt pattern?"
This is annoying and wastes everyones time. Is it just me?
Sorry for the rant!
