Complete with pads AND adapters to make it work on the tall spindles or on the earlier drum spindles you could easily pull 250.00-300.00. Just the caliper abutments and calipers are only worth 100.00 or so.

Rotors are worthless. You can buy brand new rotors for less than the shipping price.

Just fronts or fronts and rears? I would be super interested in just the front setup if you decide to sell

dennis i think think maybe your being a little harsh here . i looked on ebay and rotors go for 189.00 plus shipping. hardly worthless if in good cond. and 10.00 for the calipers. are you for real. they sell for 350.00 a pair new.
i'm not looking to make a bunch here ,just want to ask a fair price.

NAPA sells brand new rotors for 25.00 each. Brand new calipers from GMdirect are ~125.00/ea with shipping. Abutments are 34.00/ea. That is a grand total of 364.00 for brand new parts.

10.00 was a typo, should have read 100.00.

Are folks on ebay advertising garbage as gold and getting it??? Sure they are, there is a sucker born every minute. I paid 200.00 for front and rear calipers with brand new pads, abutments and hoses off a 04 Corvette with less than 10K. I paid 50.00 for 6 used rotors, 2 were almost new stockers front, 2 were rear and 2 were powerslot rotors-new condition.

a rotor is only as good as the metal it's made out of and the design of the cooling fins eh?

Exactly, I don't suppose you have ANY tech at all to help with deciding whose rotors to run??? I didn't think so; I've never found a manufacturer that would disclose that info. I do know that most online (ebay) sellers are peddling the big manufacturers throw aways. When Raybestos or Wagner or whoever is doing their QC if it fails it gets junked. There are many who pick up the junk and sell it as new.

I don't buy ANYTHING, especially brake products based on the philosophy that the more expensive it the better it is. :slap:

Z06 drilled slotted rotors are around 40.00 each from GM, i bought used calipers from a C5 that the owner upgraded for 200.00 for all four.
