Well here is all I can afford of a Boss 302!! Its rough but real "G" code non shaker , slats , 3:50 gear , Blue metallic car. Plans are finnish the body that the PO started, he installed the one piece floor, front aprons, front rails ,rear rails and trunk floors.
The engine will be a 408 Clevor (thats a 351w with Cleveland heads) and a Tremec , 9" rear with Strange aluminum center , four wheel disc and the majority of the stage 2 Trans-am chassis mods from the Boss 302 manual.
Wheels are still up in the air but they will have a vintage look....

First, congrats on buying a legit G-code. Next, I'm looking forward to watching this build! :)

I love the clevor route!

Are you going to go iron cleveland heads or something aluminum/aftermarket?

I'm selling some 4v closed chamber cleveland heads, just in case you might interested! :)

Thanks guys!! Clevorguy I am not sure but I was thinking for a mild street engine the Edelbrocks would work good. But I have not seen any real world on them.

You should also look into Trickflow....but might be a little small for a 408.

http://www.trickflow.com/egnsearch.asp?N=400098+4294908331+4294867081+42948 40125+4294889095+115+340092&autoview=sku

Should be cheaper than CHI/AFD/Blue Thunder/Yates.

Stay away from Procomp.

Thanks for the link I will check into them. Everyone says Procomps are junk but I have a set on my Big Block. I had the guides replaced before I used them and so far on the street they have been fine........and cheap.
Going to order the quarters next week and get the body finished.......

Ain't it a shame what a real Boss costs today? 20 years ago I could buy a restored Boss for what you can buy a "project" for now. Couldn't afford one then either...:squint:

Good luck with the build.

MK70..Thats why I bought one now. The economy has the "project cars" coming out of the wood work. Boss Mustangs , C1-C2 Corvettes just to name a couple are at all time lows.
