Hey guys,

Here are some photos we just received from a customer who picked up his wheels this weekend for his 66 Chevelle. He supplied us with some quick easy measurements over the phone, and we built him 18x10 wheels, mounted them with a Nitto 555R drag radial, that are 285/40/18s. He installed them, and says they work, and clear, and fit perfect.

Sweet.

Enjoy the photos!

Yea it is I finally got my wheels and couldn't be happier. Jon and Justin are about the best guys you can deal with. Thanks guys. Will be calling you in the future for my other projects. Also thanks to Jason Rushforth for coming up with so many awsome wheel designs, it was hard to choose.

Thank you for the kind words. Happy to work with you, and like I've told many in the past, it can be done (285s on a 10" wheel) on the back of a 66-7. Glad we can help you, and look forward to working with you again! :1st:

Yep, nice lookin' '66!

10" wheels fit real nice on the rear of '66's with the right back spacing.

Looks great. I guess there were no body mods to fit these? (mini-tubs or rolling the fender lip)

No tubs fender lips rolled. I wish nitto made a 295/40/18 because they would fit.

They make a 295/45-18, which is what's on my Elky.

How much is the car lowered? I have 20"x10" on the rear of my 67. I went with a 285-30 but wish I choose 285-40. Wheels fit no problem. Plenty of room for bigger tires.

I bet their 305/35-18 N555R drag radial will fit no problem, they make a very square-smallish tire for the size.

I have those on my '70 SS454 and have put them on my '69 Camaro no problem.
I measured them and they were almost the exact same width as my 275/40 N555's from my Camaro, both on 10" wide wheels.

Jon and I talked alot about tire size and fitment. The 295/45 would have worked but I ended up wanting the drag radial. And I really like the way the 40 series tires look.
