Steve all you have to do is hit the print screen button. It's the button just above insert on your keyboard. Then open any photo editing software(paint being the simplest) and paste. Then do a save as. You can then save it as a JPEG

Hi guys, I just registered from the old board, and Im a member over at nastyZ28.com
I found my desktop over at GMphotostore, which I HIGHLY recommend if you have interest in old GM promo pics.
The pic is a shot from 1957, NASCAR. Its a 57 Chevy 150 2 door. Looks a lot like mine, except mines in boxes these days. I have a blown up version in my living room; framed.

Stielow's 67 Camaro that he raced in One Lap.

It's been my inspiration, though I couldn't afford it, now I'm getting back on track.

Anyone know where I can find these rims in a 17 x 8? I saw an add one time, but don't remember the maker or if they were any good. They offered all sorts of sizes in that style.

They were 315's on a 17X11" rim. Had to mini-tub the car to fit them.

http://www.hotrod.com/featuredvehicles/45038/index.html

Paraphrased from the article: GM ZR-1 17x9.5 front wheels and 275/40ZR17 Goodyears, 17x13.5-inch ZR-1 wheels and 315/35ZR17 Goodyears.

This is the only article I could find with any good details on the car. I used to have the Hot Rod August 1996 article it was in, but lost it in a move.

i bet the 13.5 inch is a mis print, way to wide for a 315, i doubt he would run a 315 on a 17x13.5 , plus i have never seen the zr -1's in that big, i have seen them in 17x11, i love how the rear tires are right out to the edge of the 1/4 lip, is there any way to find out alot of info on this car?? like rear end width, etc thr 67-68's look best imo , with the wheels out at 1/4 edge, where as the 69s look awesome tucked, let me know

Don't know for sure, where to find more info. I've looked.

I'm the type of guy that wants all four tires the same. But now, I'm not sure if it's even worth rotating the tires on this car. That was my reasoning for all 4 being the same, with the cost of high speed tires.

you would have a hard time matching a color from a monitor screnn to real life paint chips but i would bet a house of color blue candy or transparent over silveer metallic would be real close. maybe even the old "iroc blue" over silver. any expert painters feel free to correct me. that rendering is beautiful and the real car would be also.

I figured as much, the rendering looks like the car would be under specific flourescent lights, so I will have to take it to a few places and havethem try their best. If I can get close I will definitely go with the black stripes, blends with the black interior much better and overall looks much more badass than the blue with white stripes (which would probably stand out more). Thanks for your responses,
