315/30/22
I found some cheap.
I have a 92 caprice wagon and have major amounts of room in the rear for a large tire.
I need tires anyway.
Can it work?
Some say yes, some say no. Trying to get more opinions.

Car will be lowered according to how the wheel and tire fitment is, and I will be spacing the tire out with a Hubcentric adapter.
So what do you guys think?

what size tire you have on there now?looks like 245? 315 will be a truck tire,
did you replace the rear control arm so tires can clear the rocker?

Right now its a 255/30/22 Offset is +15
Replce the rear control arm no, why would I do that?
29.5" tall is fine with me.
On my 71 GT Torino, I had 275/40/20s or 35 series cant remeber.
But that was a truck tire. Im fine with a "truck" tire.

I have 305/45/22's on a 9.5" rim on my Tahoe, they are a street tire and do not look "truckish". Fit was recommended by America's tire. The have a very slight buldge so my wife doesn't curb it. 315's should fit, they will definately look better than the ones on there now.

Yeah everytime I look at the back I get a pit in my stomach. I hate the look. They sit great with the skirt n the back.
Incase you guys didnt notice or know. 4th gen Caprice wagnons never had an open rear fender.
Heres how low im taking the car.

I had 22x10 Lowenhart LD-1 3 piece wheels on my 95 Impala SS with 265/30/22 and rear tires were 1/16th away from the rockers , anything bigger would shred the tires without cutting the body or installing SLP extended rear control arms.
I still have the wheels, can make a good deal if anyone interested

I think your offset was a little off. I have +15 and mine can tuck under the front fender. Or you could have got some flares :)
I think im gonna snag some 265s because they are plentiful. Im going to be doing burnouts like no ones bussiness.

315 tires are too wide for a 9.5 wheel in my opinion. I'd say 10.5 is the low end on width range, with 11.0 being perfect.

Do you really want this.... things?
It looks like ugly and drive like crap...
Why?
Because you have no comfort!!!
And 315 tires in 22" are really narrow...
