Spies Hecker Rally matte black

question

i just did a lttle panel work and sprayed rally matte black but it has some minor imperfections can i wet sand this stuff and bring the finish back

for those that dont know its a single stage matte finish paint

Ahh. Rally Matte Black. I use a ton of this stuff. It works well everywhere you want a satin black finish. The nice thing is it is catalyzed so it holds up a lot better than most non-catalyzed satin finishes.

To answer your question yes you can sand it to get rid of imperfections, but then you will need to reapply another coat or two. You cant sand it and polish it because it will become shiny. I would wetsand out your imperfections with 600 then spray it again.
