Does anyone have up to date information on tuning the PCM that GMPP sells for installing an LS series in another chassis. Last I heard was very sketchy info on using the likes of HPTuner on one. I would like definative infomation please.
Thanks all

Thanks Frank :twothumbs Did you get that cam yet??
Some of the earlier GMPP ECM's and the earlier HPT software you could not gain access. The newer ECM's and latest HPT software should not have that issue.
Hope this helps.

Mike, What I am hearing (correct me if I'm wrong) if that the current PCM's from GMPP have the ability to be tuned with the systems such as HPT. I am working on a deal that would put a LS3 with a GMPP wiring harness in my Chevelle, then an Edelbrock Supercharger on it.

I'm no expert and only have limited experience with HPT, but if your going to use boost you may want to reconsider using a GMMP computer and instead use a factory ECU. I spoke with Bill from HPT and because the GMMP is a custom operating system they will not be supporting it with upgrades to use a 2bar tuning system. Hope that makes sense.

Who in the heck would want an Eaton TVS supercharged LS engine in their car? :-)

Depending on how much boost he is planning on running, this would most likely not be an issue for a good tuner. I have done several on a base setup with no issues. Not saying that a 2 bar setup would be a good option to have, just saying that for his application it may not be needed.
