Welding the new trunk in today, major rust removal through the entire floor. New floors, rockers, floor supports, inner rockers, trans tunnel to fit T56, driveshaft tunnel, rear seat pans, mini-tubbed, quarters, trunk lid, doors and misc brackets and pieces!

There's no reason to start a build thread now it's pretty close to being finished ,just wating for the interior to be finished and fine tune the engine. It has a 454 with a Ram-jet efi,T-56,air bar suspension,9 inch,and corvette brakes. Jesse Greening is making a one off SS trim panel for the trunk.

My plans are to open road race it, thats the reason it has a rear mounted radiator, the whole nose of this car is blocked off via a custom airdam.

Those wheels are cragar soft eights in 17 x 9 ,not a light wheel 38lbs each but less than $80 a piece, no backspacing options wont fit the rear without some clearancing. Most cast aluminum wheels I could afford werent much lighter and hit my steering arms unless I used spacers so I ended up with these they look ok, rather have custom 17 x 11forged aluminum but most people on here have more money in there wheels than I have in my whole drivetrain.

I have 275/40 17 up front and either 315/35/17 if I widen the wheels or 275's out back on the unmodified rims. My car has no stock inner wheeltubs so I only have to clear the fender lip, I could fit 345/35/17 on my rear if I had custom wheels.

someone already posted a pic but I changed some things so i thought I'd put up a new one. 17x8 in the frond with 255 and 17x11 in the rear with 315 in the back with outer well tub extended to quarter. i don't think you can fit any bigger without doing frame mods as I have no quarter lip and about 1/4" on each side of the tire.

More like ended up not having to sell. I"ll try and get some pictures this weekend. To fit the 17x11's I'm running 6" bs and removed the wheel lip and ran the outer tub straight to the quarter. I am running a 9" with discs so the bs might be different for something else.

Does your exhaust scrape near the tips? I was thinking of doing something close to that on mine but am worried about it getting tore off.

the exhaust only touches slightly on the mufflers never the tips. I've got marks sc&c setup on here and the car is about as low as it can get. I had it an inch lower initially but the mufflers hit everything with that height, trunk pics comming soon.

I posted some time back with a picture of my 65. At the time I was not completely finished putting the car back together. But since then I have finished it up and even spent some time behind the seat. Thought I would share some finished shots. Took these pictures at Goodguys Lone Star Nationals a couple months ago. This was the first real trip after building the car, 550 miles round trip. Car ran great and I can't wait for the next road trip.

Busted my memory card reader on my laptop so all these pics have taken forever to recover. I believe the D-SLR camera made the red come out deeper and richer. Will have to check once I get those uploaded to this computer.
