That's cool. I typically don't like the early C1s. This one is certainly the exception

Most likely my favorite car ever.. it just looked right.

It also looked "to the point".. nothing stupid or tacked on.

I wonder how it handles .. hmmm

That car is functional art. Great color, stance, wheel choice, etc. I know the hood window is part of the ZR1 and it looks better with the hood closed, but I could do without it on this car, that is the only thing that I would change. I wonder what it would look like with a satin finish?

Subtle wickedness.

Great taste.

The car won First place in Pro-Touring class. It was built by Jayson Pecikonis of Timeless Kustoms in Camarillo. (805)384-9959 They built it to DRIVE and TRACK it!!

He's got a full Morrison chassis, Corvette front clip/ 9" with watts linkage rear.... Hmm... Sounds familiar...LOL!! Ya gotta love the ceramic brakes though!!! SWEET!! Jayson scaled it as the build went, he said he ended up moving the engine rearward during the build to get the balance perfect.

wow awesome! love the color. anybody knows what it is? Jayson said it was the ZR1 Charcoal color... from GM. Name? I'd have to check a ZR1 sales brochure, LOL!!, but any paint shop chart would have it no problem.

That car is beautiful! I like the hood myself. I would like to see it closed to get a better idea what it looks like.

That's strange, Art Morrison's C1 is basically the same car yet the balance is dead nuts 50/50 without moving the engine. Maybe the LS9 weighs more than Art's engine?

Maybe Mark or Charlie will know? It would seem that it would have to be with the extra supercharger weight and all of its components.

Then again, how much farther back did he go?

Great car! I didn't notice the carbon brakes until now - very cool!

As far as moving the engine back - it doesn't like it was moved that far back, but I bet that with the supercharger/intercooler combo on top that it added enough weight to the engine to change the balance.

With an all aluminum Bill Mitchell 427SBC we were able to get a 50/50 weight balance on our 60 Corvette project.

I've need to give Timeless a call so we can post build pics on our website.

By the position of the engine to axle centerline, not much. But yeah there is more weight with the supercharger, intercooler, heat exchanger, fluids, ect. The ZR1 does in fact tip the scales more than the ZO6, but power to weight is still better in the ZR1 with the HP.. * note: Jayson says there are some undertray peices to be fitted as well yet....

I always envy the high power to weight ratio of cars like that.

I am on the other side of it, I have the wait for power ratio.:pat:

Wow, that is really sick. Kinda understated compared to the build style of the C2RS. Which is not to say better, but more understated.

Are these brakes now available from GM to average Joe? Well, I guess it would be average joe with $10K+ for brakes.

The name of the color is Cyber Gray if he used a factory GM paint code.

We were just speculating about the brakes this morning. As soon as the ZR1 came out we talked with our C6 component supplier and they could find no information on these brakes! If that's still the case, then you would have to know a guy who knows a guy sort of thing. I bet pricing for the average joe would be in the $10-$15k range for the brake system.

That thing is mean looking. Maybe it'll be an OUSCI contender.

I don't know if you can get the rear parts anymore, I searched for them online and can't find them. The fronts would cost about $3800.

Right up my alley. I love my grey and black cars! I think I might have done a gray centered wheel with the black hoops, but I'm not throwing any negative criticism at all, I love the way the car looks. They do some great work at that shop, I can't think of many cars I don't like that they've built.
