I did some searching but it's been a while since some of the threads were updated and car covers are something that may have new options more frequently.

I'm looking for a car cover for two reasons. Most importantly, in my shop and/or trailer (enclosed trailer) just to keep dust/debris off of the paint. Secondly, maybe at some shows or events (like GoodGuys) during overnights.

What kind of advice and or recommendations to you guys have? This is for my '66 GTO convertible.

i have a Durafin car cover for my 69 that i bought at NPD. it is nice and heavy and the underside is very soft. i like it for when my car is parked in the garage. it also helps protect the paint if something bumps against it. its not an outdoor cover though...

I 3rd the motion and getting the middle to top of the line is best, stay away from the cheapest ones of any of them as there is a reason they are that less expensive to be nice about them as for some reason depending on the finish you use for wax, etc. thay can try to stick to the surface after settiing while and leave the wrinkle or breathing hole marks on the surface and are a biotch to polish back off.
