Pretty sweet looking vette.
The only thing I don't like is the mirrors.
hey don't look right on it.

Probably the best execution of this yet, but I still hate it! i would much rather have ortiginal body proportions and a new aftermarket chassis, LSX, etc.

Pro Touring mid year Vettes are still very strong.

I have to go with Frank on this. Great job on the build, but I'm not a fan...

It looks great from the rear. The front has too much "flair" on the front fenders that make them stick up too much above the hood to look right in my opinion.

I can still appreciate the huge amount of work it must have took to build that car though.

It looks fantastic, yet wrong at the same time. I like it though, nice to see "different" done well these days. And for some reason I think it looks like a great candidate for the Batmobile.

I agree with you about the view from the back.

there are officially no new ideas, anywhere, anymore.

Don't know if you guys have seen this conversion. The technology is C4 (old by today's standards) but the proportions seem much more acurate and I bet the cost is not so outrageous. http://www.corvettefever.com/featuredvehicles/corp_1002_1963_corvette_replica/index.html

Probably the best one I have seen so far.
Maybe with different mirrors though. I'd love to see it in the skin, as a 2D picture is hard on a car with so many curves.

I really don't mind the liberties the designers took with the proportions of the front or back of the car. The added swoopiness doesn't bother me at all. However, the side of the car between the wheels just kills it for me. It is very apparent that they couldn't trim the fat on the sides, to match the slightly tapered/tucked proportions below the body line of the mid year 'vette like they did in the front and back.

The front and the back look like the older body, but the middle still looks new. Great work, but something about it just doesn't fit with me.
