Will these fit on a '60 Impala? I'm having trouble with the driver side fitting - hits the driver side front of the fender well - even with the springs off ? Thx 5.25 BS

Its probally hitting on the gas fill tube. Take a look and see if you can massage it somehow.

I would say no. Not with out removing the filler neck. You will also have issue with the rear body support box. We have a 62 Impala in our shop with 295/40/20 in the rear. But the body and frame have been heavily worked.

Agreed. Like on my 62, I ran a 285/35/22 in the rear, and it even took some work to work with my AirRide. These cars want about a 28" tall tire, maybe a bit taller, but that's about it.

too big. What will help with rear side to side clearence would be an ajustable panhard bar. I have one on my 64 and its makes life alot easier for fitment issues.
